With Jennifer Baughman with whom I share many stories back to 2009.

With Nell de Boer and her daughter in the village in the Netherlands Andijk, where she was born. Beautiful Table conversations.

With Jenn Swift, just in our livingroom.

Our dear friend Kosy from Nigeria, in the Garden of Abundance

With the Nelson & Boonzaaijder family in Swarzenborn where we come several times a year.

The garden of abundance in a few images.

Abundance

Flowers at the table.

Harvest time

Making tea and playing with it.

Retreat with students and Taize

In the small church of Taize, where Frere Roger started his community life. I hope to go again in the Summer of ’26 Let me know if you have also plans, maybe we can even meet there!

WIth students in a Franciscan monastery. Amazing experience. Wonderful conversations.

This is a regular daily lunch with students. The workspace is really working well by now. If you like to see the English Website: Check here

Judith and Jelle the day before the wedding. Doing the final prep.

The day after the wedding, having breakfast in the garden of the monastery.

Sami, and his family (Femke’s boyfriend from Linz) came for a visit. It was cold at the seaside. But we made it.

One of the biggest Highlights of the year was of course that Jelle (dad) handed over Judith to son in law Jelle. (for the inconvenience they share the same name).

Last november, Marijke got her masters degree in Scotland. (St. Andrews). Definetely another highlight.

Here we are having tea in the house of C.S. Lewis. I have to write about that visit. It was quite something. What touched me the most was the simplicity of the house. Just plain and simple. And yet: such a writer. What an imagination.

Kind regards from the Netherlands. (if you like to know more about what I do in Dutch, you can read this blog. ) Sometimes, it feels as if I live in two worlds. Integrating the one with the other is a whole different story. Never mind, you cross cultural living friends, know exactly where I am talking about.

Oh yes! and at the end of december my workbook came out! You can still order it here. I will come soon with a bookparty proposal!

Yes! I’m interested in what you write and I like a copy! (ORDER HERE).

Happy end of the year and a wonderful 2026. May you experience the love of the Lord in a very precious way.

Always lovely to hear from you!

Janneke (and Jelle)
