Blooming trees.

Published Categorized as english
In the month of Lipanj, which means blooming linden, the flowering trees add a delicious aroma to the city. And flowering trees are also now in the churchyard in Darda. The children from Randwijk have sold sausages, and a bucket of money has been collected. Thank you very much, children! Super.
I would like to give you another look at the church garden: growing children and blooming elderly despite pain, fragility, and sadness. Here just some pictures.

Birthday time. It is lovely when we see a young generation what is raised in the little church. That gives hope for the future. In the back: Jesus, the Way, Truth and life!

At home, next to the beautiful garden. A lot of work.

This little guy turned one this month.

Two weeks ago the Sunday’s service was certainly multilingual. For example, the sermon was spoken in French, but because there was no one in the audience who spoke both French and Croatian—but there was someone who could speak both Italian and Croatian—the sermon was translated from French into Italian, from Italian to Croatian, and lastly, quietly, just for us, into English! Four translations!
This past Sunday, our car broke down and we took the train. That was a fun experience!

At the station of Osijek. No platform, just jump!

Jelle had the privilege to preach and shared the Word with Psalm 100:

1 Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.
2 Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.
3 Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his ; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.
5 For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.
Bye for now, thank you for your love and support. We wish you a great Summer!
